Overview

Part Finder is a secure and flexible data-management platform designed for organizations that rely on Excel and spreadsheet-based information but need more control, security, collaboration and intelligence than traditional spreadsheets can provide. Originally developed to help organizations store and manage Excel-based data securely, Part Finder has evolved into a platform that allows teams to continue working with familiar spreadsheet-style data while adding powerful controls and collaborative capabilities around it.

Organizations can create their own templates, lists and custom data structures for virtually any purpose — from inventory and stock lists to vendor databases, item categories, equipment records, employee lists or any other structured business information. Organization administrators can create and manage templates, create custom formats, and share selected templates or data with specific teams.

Part Finder is built around controlled data access. Different users and teams can have their own accounts and access only the information that has been shared with them. Administrators maintain control over data access, exports and copying permissions, helping organizations protect sensitive business information while still allowing teams to work collaboratively.

Unlike conventional spreadsheet software, Part Finder separates data management from analytics. Users can select specific rows and columns from their existing data and send them directly to the analytics environment without having to create a separate spreadsheet or duplicate the underlying data. Selected fields can be added, removed or changed as business requirements evolve.

The platform also introduces additional security controls designed for organizations handling sensitive operational data, including restrictions on common copying and extraction functions. Features such as Ctrl+A, Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V restrictions, screenshot protection, and administrator-controlled export and data-copying permissions help organizations maintain greater control over how their information is accessed and shared.
